Washington Community Furnishings was set up in March 2012,we are a not for profit voluntary organisation and we have our own premises on Burhope Road, Washington, Tyne and Wear.We support many local agencies by offering their services,furniture,white goods and many other items at reasonable and discounted prices.We also supply local people in the community at affordable prices.Offering free collection service for those who want to recycle and donate furniture while supporting Macmillian Cancer Support and loads of different organisations in the North East.

We need this much needed service!
to support organistion/agencies/people in the local community and their families,who are on low- incomes or struggling with their finances get furniture, White goods and other house hold items,by providing low cost furniture to them.Mainly in Washington and the surrounding areas.
We are also proud to show our support to Macmillian Cancer Support. by making donations of £1000.00 every year until 2022.
WE have increased this to £2000.00 a year from in 2023,
helping local cancer patients and their families.
We have supported them in,2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
Total so far is £11,000.00 raised and we will give them another £1,000.00 in October 2023.

Our team offers a professional,caring,friendly and reliable service. Our staff and volunteers have a vast wealth of experience in dealing with any situation. We care about our customers and try our best to keep people happy,as we rely on repeat business. We offer a prompt professional delivery and collection service.
